This is a shout out to all parents who have no plans to travel with their kids this school holiday. Why throw away all your money into tuition when you can be investing in classes, for your kids, that are just as important for their future as their academic achievements. I don’t disagree with the idea that studying is important. However, it is also important to learn important skills that last for a lifetime, skills that are transferrable in all professions.
This school holiday, November 2024, Yellow Pig Bear is putting together a 7-weekday public speaking bootcamp for your children. The aim of this course is to equip children with the skills to speak boldly, eloquently and tactfully, in an era where more people are becoming more vocal.
Public Speaking is more than just being a brave and articulate speaker on stage. It is also about discovering oneself and using one’s voice to inspire others.
Since 2018, DJ has taught countless children (6-12 years old) how to speak confidently and eloquently on stage, across schools and even at enrichment and tuition centres. Here are some pixelated images of his students doing their live speeches.
This bootcamp will only be open to primary school students living in Singapore. No electronics will be required for this programme.
It will be over 10 Weekdays:
18-22 November 2024: Lessons 1-5
25-26 November 2024: Lessons 6-7
Speech Day: 30 November 2024, 2pm-3pm
Everything is cumulative. That means the entire programme is scaffolded and missing one lesson might affect the student’s ability to understand or work efficiently in another lesson.
Each Lesson is 1.5 hours in duration from Mondays through Fridays.

The price of the course is only $420. You can choose to make a deposit of $210 first, to reserve your slot, or make the full payment up front. The deposit only secures you a spot for your child/ward. However, you will need to make the full payment before 12 November 2024 in order for your child to be fully registered for the programme. Refund policy:
- If you make a deposit of $210 to secure a spot but do not pay the full amount by 13 November 2024, the deposit will not be refunded to you and your application will be considered withdrawn. A message or a call will be made to you to confirm the status of your application before any decision is made on our end. If you decide to withdraw, an official e-mail and SMS will be sent to you to acknowledge your withdrawal. Likewise, if you do decide not to withdraw, an official e-mail and SMS will be sent to you.
- If you have paid the deposit but wish to withdraw before 13 November 2024, your deposit will be restored to you and an official e-mail and text message will be sent to you to acknowledge your withdrawal and that your deposit has been refunded to you.
- If you pay for the full amount and decide to withdraw your application before 13 November 2024, the full amount will be restored to you and an official e-mail and text message will be sent to you to acknowledge your withdrawal and that your deposit has been refunded to you.
- If you pay for the full amount ($420) but decide to withdraw any time from 13 November 2024 through 17 November 2024, you will only receive a 50% of the full amount ($210) and an official e-mail and text message will be sent to you to acknowledge your withdrawal and that your deposit has been refunded to you.
- If you pay for the full amount ($420) but decide to withdraw your application after 17 November 2024, you will no longer be able to receive any refunds, in any form, for any amount.
